Tax Abatement – Property owner can receive 100% tax abatement for five years for new builds, rehabs, or additions.

Discounted City Lots – Manning offers multiple lots at a discounted rate of $15,000 each. Building must start within one year and be completed within two. The property owner will receive $7,500 back once the property is occupied.

Workforce Housing Tax Credits – The city provided cash or land for projects using Workforce Housing Tax Credits. Manning’s designation as a Thriving Community by the State of Iowa offers additional points on the application for builds in Manning.

Tax Increment Financing – Residential tax increment financing (TIF) can help with infrastructure or a rebate for a larger-scale project.
