Communities in Carroll County, Iowa, are eligible for Workforce Housing Tax Credits issued through the Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA). The program is designed to encourage new housing development and redevelopment in rural communities where additional housing is needed to support workforce growth.
These tax credits help offset development costs and make it more feasible to build quality, affordable housing such as single-family homes, townhomes, and multi-family units.
